I know the name of this blog is "Don't Call Me A Hippie" and I don't consider myself to be a hippie, but I also know that there are few other things out there that scream "hippie" as loudly as HAIR.
This is the 2009 Broadway Revival Cast recording, and well, it's awesome. The revival won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 2009.
Although I don't consider myself a hippie, I can't help but identify with parts of the movement; the feelings of alienation, the yearning for acceptance, opposing war, and embracing love as the ultimate power; the drugs, however, not so much.
